LinkedIn users with more than 250 connections have to go through customer service in order to cancel their accounts.
LinkedIn member Jonathan Snook received the following response to his cancellation request:
Jonathan later received a message from customer support that informed him LinkedIn would confirm when the account is officially closed. It reads:
LAUNCH has reached out to LinkedIn for a comment but is awaiting a response.
